Special Town Board Meeting
						
February 25, 2009
5:00p.m.—5:310.m.

Town Officials Present:  Chairman: William Jax, Supervisors: Rosetta
Boyle, Steve Gillespie, Michael Poe, and Dave Specht.
Town Officials Absent:  None.
Others Present:  Clerk/Treasurer: Betty Manson, Assistant
Clerk/Treasurer: Marion Uphoff, and Attorney: Tom Orgorchuck.  

CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Jax called the special board meeting to order
at 5:00p.m.

VERIFICATION OF PROPER POSTING:  Manson verified that this meeting had
been properly posted at 3 locations.

CLOSED SESSION AS PER STATE STATUTE 19.85 (1) (G) CONSIDERING WITH
LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY WHO IS RENDERING ORAL OR
WRITTEN ADVICE CONCERNING STRATEGY TO BE ADOPTED BY THE BODY WITH
RESPECT TO LITIGATION IN WHICH IT IS OR IS LIKELY TO BECOME INVOLVED:
Motion by Specht to go into closed session as per state statute
19.85(1)(g) considering with legal counsel for the governmental body
who is rendering oral or written advice considering strategy to be
adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is
likely to be become involved at 5:01p.m., 2nd by Boyle.  Roll Call
vote taken by Manson:  Specht—Aye, Boyle—Aye, Jax—Aye, Poe—Aye, and
Gillespie—Aye.  Motion Carried.
Motion by Poe to reconvene to open session at 5:30p.m., 2nd by Boyle. 
Roll Call vote taken by Manson:  Specht—Aye, Boyle—Aye, Jax—Aye,
Poe—Aye, and Gillespie—Aye.  Motion Carried.

ADJOURN MEETING:  Motion by Specht to adjourn the special town board
meeting at 5:31p.m., 2nd by Gillespie.  Motion Carried. 

Chairman Jax declared the special town board meeting adjourned.
