Special Town Board Meeting Minutes
						
May 13, 2010
5:30p.m.—5:58p.m.

Town Officials Present:  Chairman: William Jax.  Supervisors:  Steven
Gillespie and David Specht.   Supervisor Michael H Poe was present via
the speaker telephone.
Town Officials Absent: Supervisors:Rosetta Boyle
Others Present:  Clerk/Treasurer:  Betty Manson.

CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Chairman Jax called the special board meeting
to order at 5:30p.m.  

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:  Pledge of allegiance was recited by all
present.

VERIFICATION OF PROPER POSTING:  Manson verified that this meeting had
been properly posted at 4 locations within the Town.

AGENDA IN ANY ORDER:  Jax stated that the board will follow the agenda
in the order presented.

5:34p.m.  Supervisor Poe joined the meeting via the speaker
telephone.

RESOLUTION #2010-06 TRANSFER FUNDS TO BALANCE 2010 BUDGET:  Motion was
made by Gillespie to approve Resolution #2010-06 Transferring Funds to
Balance 2010 Budget, 2nd by Poe.  Roll call vote was taken by Manson: 
Specht—Aye, Gillespie—Aye, Poe—Aye, and Jax—Aye. Motion Caried. 

ORDINACE AMENDING LICENSE FEES:  Motion was made by Gillespie to
approve Ordinance #2a Amending License Fees as follows:  Class “A”
liquor license—$200.00/year; Class “A” fermented malt beverage
license—$100.00/year; Class “B” liquor license—$200.00/year; Class “B”
fermented malt beverage license—$100.00/year; Class “B” liquor license
is an initial, one-time fee of $10,000.00 plus the annual $300.00
liquor license fee; Temporary Class “B” license—$10.00/year; Class “C”
wine license—$100.00/year; Non-intoxicating and soda water beverage
license—$25.00/year; Operator’s license—$20.00/year; Temporary
operator’s license—$1.00/year. Board also recommended increasing the 
cigarette license—$50.00/year, board instructed Clerk to  first check
with the Town’s Attorney—William Curran to see how to add the
cigarette licenses, 2nd by Poe.   Roll call vote was taken by Manson: 
Specht—Aye, Gillespie—Aye, Poe—Aye, and Jax—Aye. Motion Carried. 

VOUCHERS:  Manson explained that the impact fee check #5002 should be
amended, due to the fact that the Hamm’s Check which was voided was
included in that money that was being transferred from the impact fee.
 Motion was made by Specht to amend Check 5002 from $113,788.75 to
$112,361.24 and to approve check #14535 totaling $150.00 from the
general fund, 2nd by Poe.  Motion Carried. 

PUBLIC COMMENT:  None

ADJOURN MEETING:  Motion was made by Poe to adjourn the special town
board meeting at 5:58p.m, 2nd by Specht.  Motion Carried.

Chairman Jax declared the special board meeting adjourned.
