Special Town Board Meeting Minutes
						
September 10, 2009
3:04p.m.—3:21p.m.

Town Officials Present:  Chairman: William Jax, Supervisors: Rosetta
Boyle, & Michael H Poe.
Town Officials Absent: Supervisors: Steven Gillespie & David Specht
Others Present:  Clerk/Treasurer: Betty Manson,  & Lampert-Lee &
Associates President: Charles Gibbons, Jr.  

CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Jax called the special board meeting to order
at 3:04p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:  Pledge of allegiance was recited by all
present.

VERIFICATION OF PROPER POSTING:  Manson verified that this meeting had
been properly posted at 4 locations within the Township.

OPEN BIDS PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE BUILDING:  Gibbons opened all the
bids for the public works maintenance building and they are as
follows:  
Altmann Construction—Wisconsin Rapids:  $494,000.00	
Cardinal Construction Co Inc—Fondulac:  $433,200.00
Eagle Construction Co Inc—Wisconsin Rapids:  $459,985.00
Path Construction—Sparta:  $428,341.00	

OPEN BIDS PUBLIC WORKS SALT/SAND SHED:   Gibbons opened all the bids
for the public works Salt/Sand Shed and they are as follows:  
	Altman Construction—Wisconsin Rapids:  $53,700.00
	Cardinal Construction—Fondulac:  $70,140.00
	Cover-All of Wisconsin, LLC:  $72,762.00
	Eagle Construction Co Inc—Wisconsin Rapids:  $51,985.00

Gibbons stated that he will take all bids back to Wisconsin Rapids for
review.  Poe stated that this meetings intent was to open and review
the bids and that the board is following a timeline:
September 14, 2009:  Lampert-Lee & Associates will make recommendation
to Town Board on award of contracts 
September 17, 2009:  Special Town Meeting for Maintenance Building and
Salt/Sand  Shed projects
September 18, 2009:  Special Town Board Meeting to act on award of
contracts for Maintenance Building and Salt/Sand Shed projects

ADJOURN MEETING: Motion was made by Poe to adjourn the special town
board meeting at 3:21p.m., 2nd by Boyle.  Motion Carried. 

Chairman Jax declared the special town board meeting adjourned.
